Nescafe intense 3-in-1 premix coffee, Caffe americano or Kopi siu siu dai

Kopi, kopi gao, kopi c kosong (that's Kirin's favourite), kopi c siu dai...
Most people would have settled for a favourite mix of espresso, milk and sugar levels. For me, I like my coffee to have a deep espresso flavour, with a little milk and a little sugar to balance off the bitterness, and still yield a mildly sweet taste.
At home, I drink Nescafe Intense 3-in-1 premix coffee; In Starbucks/Joe & Dough cafes, I order caffe americano, white, and add my preferred amount of raw sugar. Kirin figured that the Killiney/Toastbox/Yakun version for me will be - Kopi siu siu dai. Indeed, he was right.

A cup of coffee is a must every morning and I like it consistent. Rather than joining the often winding morning coffee queues and ended up with a "kopi siu siu dai" which tasted more like "kopi c siu dai", I prepare my nescafe 3-in-1 intense premix coffee in Yang's flask, a DIY gift from my sweet younger sister.
And the best part is - I know I'm taking in 2.1g of saturated fats, 12.5g of carbohydrates of which only 7.2g amounts to sugars. Perfect for health-conscious Yang. |
