Yang's Favourite Thing #14 - The Sun & "Moon" by the Flyer - Part 1, 日月照

The first bright thing that greets and shines upon Yang each day is usually him - The beautiful, everchanging Sun by the Flyer. 

On 16 Sep, he had just awoken from the horizon, and was rubbing his bleary eyes when I reached.

*Yawn* So tired!

On 29 Sep, he was playing peek-a-boo with me behind some fluffy clouds.

♪ I catch you! ♪

On 2 Oct, he was a big, fiery ball.

Roarrr!

On 14 Oct, he was just a neat little golden ball.

I'm small but mighty!

Somedays, I couldn't see him but heard him singing "Rain rain go away, come again another day..."

Rain rain go away, come again another day...

Somedays, I caught him dancing and spinning into an hourglass shape.

Wo... O... o... O

One day, he was almost blown away with the clouds, in the gusty wind!

Oopsy! Phew!

The other day, he was feasting on a sky of marshmallows, enough for breakfast, lunch and tea.

Mmm... Delicious!

Each day, he inched closer and closer to the Flyer.

I'm coming!

And there's one special thing he promised me, from the very day I noticed and took a picture of him:

" If I'm out to greet you, before the clouds, I'll ask the Moon along with me!" He said.

The "Moon" didn't always say "Yes!" But for most the time, she did.

For 30 years, I hadn't really noticed his beauty.

A non-living thing, the Sun is, yet so Alive! to me.

The heart of the Galaxy, without which earthlings cannot live.

And today, he finally crossed the Flyer to greet me...

Yippee!

... along with a faint, blue "Moon".

I like warm hugs! Yippee!
