Off to The Mira Hong Kong in Tsim Sha Tsui, there's a Mira Mall directly linked to the hotel. Chic hotel room with a clear glass bathroom and we were provided a handy Samsung smartphone with free unlimited international and local calls and Wi-Fi connectivity... Simply cool to the max.
Had good congee for lunch at Nathan Congee and Noodle along Saigon Street, Yaumatei, then coffee and cake at Caffe HABITU inside Mira Mall.
Three of Kirin's ex-colleagues (two guys and one lady from three different ex-companies of his) working in Hong Kong joined us in the hotel for a Michelin-star dinner at Cuisine Cuisine. One guy was from my university cohort, someone whom I had never struck a conversation with back in school, but got to know more when he worked at the same firm with Kirin after graduation. Seriously, it was my and Kirin's first Michelin-recommended dinner and we thought the food was good, but not too fantastic. However, seeding a friendship that binds three lonely Singaporeans together made the dinner a truly fantastic and magical one.
Once released from the baby high chair, it was self-proclaimed havoc time for 小雨 who got Yang running to and fro after her inside the restaurant.
