Chanced upon a Slow cooker Southwestern chicken soup recipe from Taste of Home. Of chicken, bell peppers, tomato, red onion, corn and green chillies. So I bought my 1st red and green peppers (yep I weighed, tagged and taped them in plastic bags like my broccoli).
小雨 doesn't like corn, so what's yellow and 小雨 is receptive to? Decided I shall switch it with a red potato instead. Guess the green chillies might add a little spiciness to the soup, so I skipped that too.
So I cut my 1st bell peppers into books, then pages and submerge them in a container of water in the fridge to keep them crunchy, as advised by the kitchn. Dicing them tomorrow so they could be fresh for the slow cooker soup.
Heated up chicken stock congee for 小雨's dinner in the wok. The boiling water brought more stuff off the insides of the wok. Now I found a good way to clean up the wok after a night of stir frying.
A peaceful ride back home in 阿福 after diner. I haven't had time to check on my steamer baskets which are sitting on the mobile clothes rack now. Please don't freak me out with more moulds tomorrow k.
