yellow, orange, purple as she pulls up her colorful dress. Wow! Mama's impressed. She was walking up and down the stairs outside with one hand on the railing, mama and papa cheering on by the side.
Kirin took more photos of our home. Being tall does make up for a novice in photography (though he claimed he isn't one). And I took some of 小雨 in the pavilion.
Where she first ran, where we (me and her) used to sing and dance the Hi-5 song ♪L.O.V.E.♪ together.

Let's try dancing,
Twirl me 'round,
Our feet are tapping on the ground.
Swing me this way,
That way too,
I love dancing next to you.
Show me an L.
Show me an O.
Show me a V,
And finish with an E.
L.O.V.E. I love you and you love me.
L.O.V.E. that's the way it's meant to be.
L.O.V.E. I love you and you love me.

Sometimes, in fact almost all the time, 小雨 hates to sit in her own car seat, stroller seat, baby high chair... Guess it's the feeling of being strapped and restricted to a seat that she detests. Or, she simply wanna tell mama and papa she's a grown up girl now.
And so, she's sleeping on my lap now, for close to an hour inside 阿福, in the carpark of the mall, while Kirin and I wait patiently for this sleeping beauty to wake up.
Read to 小雨 a Chinese book the school lent us for the week: 我的爸爸。Papa Kirin had done almost everything as illustrated in the book to 小雨, except building sand castles and dancing around with her tiny feet on his. A lovely book.
Found this little gift while packing up the study room...

Hahaa ya I once thought "Gladys" sounds special and very "Glad??", so I gave myself that name. Before that, it was "Angela", like an angel literally. So enthusiastic about having an English name that I even came up with a signature for it, sought my sister's opinion on how to aesthetically improve it, then practised signing it off for "n" number of times, until it's smooth and perfect.
Naming myself Gladys is a small part of memory I gather from this gift. Just thought it's funny that I would have bought this beetle with wriggly legs as a gift for a friend. It revived the mischievous nature of little Yang which I could hardly remember. And what's most silly was I prepared the little note but the beetle was given to no one in the end. Maybe I withdrew the idea of playing a prank on my friend. Or maybe there wasn't an intended recipient to begin with. Hmm... I wonder why? I know, I know... thinking too much.
Eh... was it for you? The dear friend who taught me to draw that classic back view of an elephant under the sun?
So tonight's yoghurt art shall be a beetle.

The six legs and two eyes (made from raisins) give me goose bumps. Think 小雨 will pat her chest and say "怕" if she sees this. I agree, this looks scary.
So I'll take my pictures, mess it up, before eating it.
