O it's Friday the 13th. No school today as the teachers had a get-together event. My little 小雨 isn't feeling too well with some slight cough and phlegm.

A day of stacking legos, matching animal figurines with pictures of animals on the playmat, scribbling in the preschool handbook about 小雨 having a best friend in school, and two failed attempts at napping her and she's up in half an hour, crying for mama. The little girl clocks in a good long nap of 2 hours in school, unbelievably. Kirin and I figured that she could get back to sleep on her own, with 2 rows of friends sleeping soundly alongside her. Just mama or papa lying down with her at home doesn't quite achieve that group or cluster effect. And more than often, I leave to do my household chores once I'm pretty sure she had drifted into lalaland. She gets "there" (lalaland) swiftly, but leaves hastily too. Just like the "小雨＂ in 「不能说的秘密」, the "Secret" movie written, directed by and starring Jay Chou. No, this wasn't the inspiration behind 小雨's nickname. It was purely coincidental.

Bought some US strawberries at the Supermart. I hadn't bought them for a while since the season for small, sweet korean strawberries ended. 小雨 has a penchant for mildly sour food. So I thought I'll make her a bowl of cut strawberries in Marigold low fat natural yoghurt, for a boost of Vitamin C.

Cut strawberries, Hello kitty biscuit and Rilakkuma spoon in a bowl of marigold low fat natural yoghurt.
In the midst of feeding, the strawberry-in-yoghurt lover threw up a fountain of milk and bits of strawberries due to her phlegmy cough. Just like the way she threw up as a 2 months' old baby with reflux problem. At a time when I teared not only because my poor baby ain't feeding well, but also for my fast-depleting stash of breast milk which didn't get digested in her tummy but got splattered in a big mess.
Apart from 小雨 throwing up at the end of the day, nothing too bad happened on this Friday the 13th.
